Found in switches, radios, and backlights for gauges, Oshino's sub-miniature lamps support drivers of vehicles from major automotive manufacturers around the world. In the aerospace industry, Our products are also included on the US government’s approved parts list. Our proven track record over the last 30 years has brought us to the point where our components are currently used in the cockpit lighting, panels, and switch backlighting of major airliners, helicopters, and other aircraft.

At Oshino we are building on the technological base gained through our development of Sub-Miniature Lamps to expand our activities to include development of optical components for vehicle interiors. We are also using our superior optical engineering capabilities to develop optical products for a variety of industrial clients.

Oshino's research ranges from ongoing research into lightbulb light, filament heat, and bulb glass, to research and development in the new field of thermal control products.

An integrated manufacturing infrastructure for the production of Sub-Miniature Lamps within the Oshino Group has allowed us to accumulate a storehouse of knowledge on glass processing, microfabrication techniques, vacuum technology, testing of all kinds, and processing.
